Kim Soo-hyun (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay) and Cha Seung-won (A Korean Odyssey) have both been confirmed to lead the upcoming drama “That Night” (literal translation), the Korean remake of BBC One’s 2008 series “Criminal Justice.”
Kim Soo-hyun signs on for the role of Kim Hyun-soo, an average college student whose life change overnight after becoming the key suspect of a murder case.
Cha Seung-won will play as Shin Joong-han, a third rate lawyer who barely passed the bar exam, yet he is the only person who is willing to help Kim Hyun-soo.
That Night will be helmed by Lee Myung-woo (Backstreet Rookie, The Fiery Priest) and the script will be written by Kwon Soon-kyu (Warrior Baek Dong Soo, The Royal Gambler). It looks to premiere in the second half of 2021.
Just recently, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist Entertainment also confirmed that they have turned down the offer to lead upcoming Netflix original series “Finger” (working title).
