Lee Bo-young, Kim Seo-hyung, VIXX’s N cast in new tvN drama

Lee Bo-young (When My Love Blooms), Kim Seo-hyung (Nobody Knows, SKY Castle), and Cha Hak-yeon/VIXX’s N (Children of Nobody) are all confirmed to star in the upcoming tvN drama “Mine” (working title).

Mine is a drama about strong women who find their true selves while overcoming the expectations of the world that they live in.

Lee Bo-young is cast for the role of Seo Hee-soo, a former top actress who is now the second daughter-in-law of the Hyowon Group. Being married to a chaebol, she exerts all efforts while adjusting to her new life. Because of her warm personality, she manages to keep her confidence and remain true to herself.

Kim Seo-hyung plays Jung Seo-hyun, an old money who is also the Hyowon Group’s first daughter-in-law. She is a bonafide chaebol from a traditional and prestigious family, and exudes elegance, dignity, and intelligence. She seemed cold in any situation because of her rational and logical approach.

Cha Hak-yeon/VIXX’s N will appear as Jang Seo-hyun’s son Han Soo-hyuk, who is also the eldest grandson of Hyowon Group. He is a third-generation chaebol who seemed to have it all but hides his loneliness. He recently comes home from studying abroad and is nursing a broken heart.

The script is written by Baek Mi-kyung (Miracle that We Met, Melting Me Softly), while PD Lee Na-jung, (Fight for My Way, Love Alarm) will direct the series.

Mine is set to premiere on tvN in the first half of 2021.
