Upcoming tvN drama titled “The Devil’s Justice” confirmed its star-studded line-up including Ji Sung (Doctor John), Kim Min-jung (My Fellow Citizens), GOT7’s Jinyoung (When My Love Blooms), and Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home).
Ji Sung leads the cast as Kang Yo-han, who is known in the judiciary as the “devil judge” because of his penchant for punishing the power-hungry and corrupt men without mercy through his own courtroom show. He has a mysterious aura despite his elegant features.
Kim Min-jung is confirmed for the role of Jung Sun-ah, the executive director of a corporate social responsibility foundation. She is Kang Yo-han’s archnemesis and through her beauty and intelligence, she has amassed various social connections in politics and business. These networks give her the power to control aspects of the economy.
GOT7’s Jinyoung is cast as Kim Ga-on, a cheerful rookie trial judge. He had a rough childhood after losing his parents early on. He gave his best growing up in order to become an associate judge.
Park Gyu-young will play Yoon Soo-hyun, a police detective in a regional investigation unit who is a close friend of Jinyoung’s character Kim Ga-on. She is out to uncover Kang Yo-han’s secrets.
The Devil’s Justice will be directed by Choi Jung-gyu (Children of Nobody) and the script will be written by Moon Yoo-suk (Miss Hammurabi). The drama is scheduled to premiere on tvN in the second half of 2021.
