Rain (Welcome 2 Life) has confirmed his return to the small screen after two years through the fantasy medical drama “Ghost Doctor” (literal translation).
The story revolves around two very different doctors whose skills and personalities are polar opposites, but end up combining their spirits in one body. Rain will play the genius doctor Cha Young-min (Rain) who is arrogant and selfish, but one day, his spirit possesses another doctor’s body.
The drama will be directed by Boo Sung-chul (Your Honor, Heirs, Our Gap Soon) while the script will be written by Kim Sun-soo (Live Up To Your Name). It will be produced by Bon Factory, the makers of Master’s Sun, She Was Pretty, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, and Encounter, among others.
Ghost Doctor is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2021 but the broadcast station has yet to be announced as of this writing.
