Cha Tae-hyun (Unexpected Business), f(x)’s Krystal Jung (Search), and B1A4’s Jung Jinyoung (My First First Love 2) are set to join forces in the upcoming KBS 2TV drama “Police Class” (literal title).
“Police Class” revolves around a former detective-turned-professor who will work alongside his students in investigating a case.
Cha Tae-hyun leads the cast as the Police University professor Yoo Dong-man, a former detective with 20 years of experience in the violent crimes unit and cyber crimes division. He will work together with his rookie students in conducting an investigation about an undisclosed case.
Jinyoung will play as the former hacker Kang Sun-ho, a first year student at the Police University who is smart and can solve problem that arises. Krystal takes on the role of another Police University freshman Oh Kang-hee, who is described as a person with righteous and candid personality.
B.A.P’s Youngjae was also confirmed earlier as part of the cast.
Police Class will be directed by PD Yoo Gwan-mo while the script will be written by Min Jung.
The drama will take over KBS2’s Monday and Tuesday 21:30 time slot after the finale of Blue Spring From A Distance in July.
