“Crime Puzzle” pushes through with Yoon Kye-sang, Ko A-sung as leads

Yoon Kye-sang (Chocolate) and Ko A-sung (Life on Mars) have both been confirmed for the TV adaptation of the popular webtoon “Crime Puzzle” (working title).

Crime Puzzle” is a 2015 webtoon thriller about a forensic psychology professor at a police academy who was arrested after confessing to the murder of his girlfriend’s father.

Yoon Kye-sang will play as the professor Han Seung-min, who is well-known in the world of criminal psychology. His life turned upside down due to his unexpected confession of killing his girlfriend’s father, and he is now in prison serving a life sentence. Han Seung-min engages in a mental game with his girlfriend Yoo Hee, a criminal profiler who will probe his case.

Ko A-sung signs on for the role of the girlfriend, Yoo Hee. She works as a detective who will re-investigate Han Seung-min’s murder case because of her refusal to believe in his statements.

Park Hae-jin (Old School Intern) was first confirmed for the lead role of Han Seung-min, but later dropped out of the drama.

The drama has yet to find a broadcast network and will be produced by Studio 329 (Netflix’s Extracurricular, YouTube’s Top Management).
