Ahn Hyo-seop (Dr. Romantic 2) has been confirmed to lead the upcoming SBS romantic comedy “A Business Proposal” (working title) or also called The Office Blind Date.
A Business Proposal is a webtoon of the same name that will be adapted by KakaoPage into a drama. It tells the story of an office girl who goes on a blind date with her company’s CEO in place of a friend.
Ahn Hyo-seop signs on for the role of third generation chaebol Kang Tae-mu, a workaholic CEO of a family-run corporation. He values his work more than himself and hates being lied to the most. His grandfather has been setting him up with different blind dates, and though he had traumatic experience with his past love, he agrees to his grandfather’s wishes. He eventually decides to marry the next blind date he is set up with – who happens to be his own employee who disguises herself in place of a rich friend while hiding her identity.
Kim Se-jeong (The Uncanny Counter) has been offered the lead female role, and she is considering the offer as of writing.
Ahn Hyo-seop is also currently filming for the historical drama “Red Sky” with Kim Yoo-jung (Backstreet Rookie).
The drama aims to premiere on SBS in the first half of 2022.
