Kim Min-seok (Lovestruck in the City) and Im Hyun-joo (Heart Signal 2) are both set to appear in the KakaoTV drama “Starting Today, Engine ON” (literal title).
Kim Min-seok will lead the drama as the genius car mechanic Cha Dae-hyun. He got his passion for cars from his grandfather, who used to run a car repair shop in the countryside. He is smart but clumsy when it comes to love. HE will fall in love with the Im Hyun-joo’s character, No Yoo-hwa, who works as the car repair center’s manager.
This will also be Im Hyun-joo’s first leading role in a drama.
The drama will be directed by Kim Dae-woong (Love+Sling).
Starting Today, Engine ON will have 4 episodes and will stream on KakaoTV starting June 29, 2021.
