The eighth installment of the famous “School” franchise has confirmed it’s new line-up!
Kim Yo-han (A Love So Beautiful), Kim Young-dae (Penthouse 3), Choi Yi-hyun (Hospital Playlist 2), and Hwang Boreum-byeol (Dear M) are all joining the cast of the KBS2 drama “School 2021.”
Kim Yo-han will play the male lead Gong Ki-joon, a taekwondo play who won the bronze medal at the National Athletics Competition, but gave up the sport after 11 years of training due to a serious injury. As his father’s business went bankrupt, he entered a vocational high school. Kim Young-dae is cast for the second lead character Jung Young-joo, a secretive transfer student who he knew Gong Ki-joon’s past.
Choi Yi-hyun is confirmed to play the character Jin Ji-won, a charming and determined high school student, while Hwang Boreum-byeol will play as Kang Seo-young, a student who currently gears up for the entrance examination in the country’s top five universities.
School 2021 targets to premiere in November 2021.
