Lee Seo-jin (Times) and Ra Mi-ran (Black Dog) are both confirmed to lead the upcoming TVING drama adaptation of “Internal Medicine Director Park” (literal translation).
Internal Medicine Director Park is based on a webtoon of the same name, which is a slice-of-life comedy series about the “funny and sad” aspects of being a doctor. It revolves around the life of Director Park, a struggling doctor whose own clinic is on the brink of closure due to lack of patients. It will depict the journey of local doctors in a neighborhood surrounded by medical facilities and pharmacies.
Lee Seo-jin takes on the titular role of Director Park, a doctor of internal medicine. As a breadwinner, he is passionate about his work and makes sure to always give a good customer service to his patients.
Ra Mi-ran will appear in the drama as Director Park’s wife Sa Mo-rim. She is described to be a clumsy woman and believes pseudoscience and TV doctors more than her husband.
The drama will be written and directed by PD Seo Joon-beom, and targets to release late 2021.
