Lee Sung-kyung (Dr. Romantic 2) and Kim Young-dae (Penthouse 3) are sworn enemies turned to lovers in the upcoming tvN rom-com entitled Shooting Star.
The two have been confirmed to star in the series which will tell the story of people working in the entertainment industry. Lee Sung-kyung takes on the role of Oh Han-byul, a management and PR team leader who is at the forefront of taking care of a celebrity’s image. Kim Young-dae, meanwhile, will play the role of Gong Tae-song, a top star who is loved by the public for his bright smile and angel-like image.
PD Lee Soo-hyeon (Witch’s Diner) will be at the helm of the production while writer Choi Young-woo will be in charge of the script. This Studio Dragon-produced series will start its filming this September. It will be broadcast on tvN and streamed exclusively on iQIYI platforms.
