Lee Joon-gi (Flower of Evil) has been confirmed to lead the upcoming SBS drama “Again My Life” (literal translation). He will star alongside The Veil stars Kim Ji-eun and Lee Kyoung-young.
Again My Life revolves around the revenge of a young prosecutor who seeks justice anew after failing to bring down a powerful political figure. It was originally a novel by Lee Hae-nal, and it has also been released as a webtoon.
Lee Joon-gi leads the cast as Kim Hee-woo, a passionate rags-to-riches prosecutor. He used to rank lowest in high school, but through his tenacity and hardwork, he made it to law school after three tries. He also lived as a martial arts athlete while studying for the bar exam. While probing a possible corruption incident to politician Jo Tae-seob (to be played by Lee Kyoung-young), he dies in the hands of an unidentified assailant. But he will eventually wake up and finds himself alive again.
Kim Ji-eun will star as Kim Hee-ah, the youngest daughter of Cheonha Group’s CEO. An intelligent and charming person, she will get involved with Kim Hee-woo.
The drama will be helmed by PD Han Chul-soo (Graceful Family).
It is set to premiere on SBS on April 2022.
