The drama adaptation of the best-selling German mystery novel of the same name “Snow White Must Die” confirmed the casting of Byun Yo-han (Mr. Sunshine), Go Bo-gyeol (Hi Bye, Mama!), Kim Bo-ra (Love Scene Number), and Ko Jun (Cheat On Me If You Can).
The original novel revolves around two police detectives who investigate the disappearances in a small town, and its connection to the return of a convicted murderer who was imprisoned for 11 years.
Byun Yo-han will play Go Jung-woo, a smart student who was sentenced to 10 years in prison after circumstantial evidence pointed him as the suspect in the murder of two teenage girls. After 11 years, he returns to his hometown and somehow the events of the past come hunting him again.
Ko Jun will take on the role of Sang Chul, a police officer. Go Bo-gyeol is set to portray Choi Na-gyeom, a top Korean actress and Go Jung-woo’s childhood friend. Kim Bo-ra’s character description is yet to be announced.
The drama will stream on wavve, but the release date is yet to be finalized.
