Park Eun-bin (The King’s Affection) will lead the upcoming SBS drama “Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo” (literal translation).
She will play the titular character Woo Young-woo, a young lawyer who tries to navigate the legal world despite having been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. She has a high IQ, impressive photographic memory, and creative thought process, which helped her rose to the top of her class both in college and law school at Seoul National University. However, she struggles with social interactions.
Kang Tae-oh is currently offered for the male lead character Lee Jun-ho, an employee of a law firm.
The drama will be directed by PD Yoo In-shik (Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 2), while the script will be penned by Moon Ji-won (Innocent Witness).
Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo is expected to air next year on SBS and possibly, Netflix.
