Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee confirmed for new survival thriller

Park Seo-joon (Itaewon Class) and Han So-hee (My Name) are both confirmed to lead the upcoming thriller drama “Gyeongseong Creature” (working title).

Set in the spring of 1945, Gyeongseong Creature delves into the lives of the youth who lived during a time when sovereignty and human rights were not even possible, and being happy means putting their lives on the line.

Park Seo-joon takes on the role of Jang Tae-sang, a wealthy man in Bukchon. He is a realist who has no interest in justice. When a threat appears after he encounters a woman, his life will take a different turn. Jang Tae-sang will experience how to “live like a human” for the first time.

Han So-hee transforms into Yoon Chae-ok, who is widely known for those who are looking for missing people, even the dead. Yoon Chae-ok, used to travel across Manchuria and Shanghai with her father since childhood. Having survived the disastrous and nightmare-like reality, she is not only good at handling guns and knives, but also smart enough to have no machines she cannot handle. She comes to Gyeongseong to search for her mother who disappeared 10 years ago, and will become associated with Jang Tae-sang. Both will be faced with a terrible reality while pursuing a series of mysterious disappearances.

Wi Ha-jun (Bad and Crazy) is also in talks for the role of Jang Tae-sang’s best friend but he has yet to be confirmed.

Gyeongseong Creature will be written by Kang Eun-kyung (Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim) and directed by Jung Dong-yoon (Stove League).
