Kim Rae-won (LUCA: The Beginning), Gong Seung-yeon (Bulgasal: Immortal Souls), and Son Ho-jun (Was it Love?) will be starring in SBS’s upcoming drama “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station” (literal title).
The Police Station Next to the Fire Station revolves around the teamwork of police officers and firefighters, usually the first responders who save the lives of people in danger. It will depict the joint response from the police and fire stations during intense crime scenes, calamities and other types of emergencies.
Kim Rae-won takes on the role of detective Jin Ho-gae, a passionate police officer who almost always never lets go of his case assignments. He is well known for being blunt and harsh towards others, but his sharp skills help him analyze all angles and obtain hard evidence against perpetrators.
Son Ho-jun will transform into firefighter Bong Do-jin, a cold yet caring character who always takes care of others especially fire victims. He would not hesitate to dive right into the fire scene just to save more people. Gong Seung-yeon will play as the paramedic Song Seol, who always does her best to treat her patients despite the gravity of their injuries.
The Police Station Next to the Fire Station will be directed by Shin Kyung-soo (Take of Nokdu) while the script is written by Min Ji-eun (Partners for Justice).
The upcoming drama is scheduled to premiere on SBS in 2022.
