Lee Min-ho (Pachinko) and Kong Hyo-jin (When the Camellia Blooms) are confirmed to star in the upcoming romantic-comedy series Ask the Stars (literal translation).
The series will follow the story of an astronaut and a tourist who meet and fall in love at a space station. Lee Min-ho will take on the role of Gong Ryong, an Obstetrician-Gynecologist specialist who is described as someone with a strong sense of responsibility. He will star opposite Kong Hyo-jin, who will play the role of Eve Kim, a Korean-American astronaut assigned to the space station where Gong Ryong arrived as a tourist.
Ask the Stars will be a reunion project of Kong Hyo-jin with scriptwriter Seo Sook-hyang (Wok of Love) and PD Park Shin-woo (Lovestruck in the City) who she previously worked with in Jealousy Incarnate. It is scheduled to premiere in 2023.
