Hwayugi co-stars Lee Seung-gi (Mouse) and Lee Se-young (The Red Sleeve) will be working together again in KBS’ upcoming drama Love According to the Law (literal title).
The romance series will be based on the hit webnovel of the same name by writer Noh Seung-ah. it is a love story that will unfold in a law firm and café called Law Café. Lee Seung-gi will be playing the role of a former prosecutor and current landlord Kim Jung-ho. He is described as someone with a charismatic personality. Lee Se-young, meanwhile, will play the role of Kim Yu-ri, an eccentric lawyer who can’t hold back at injustice. She used to work at a powerful law firm but decided to open up a café instead. She will then discover that the owner of her cafe’s building is her high school classmate Kim Jung-ho.
Kim Seul-gi will also be joining the cast as Han Se-yeon, a police officer who is also the childhood friends for 17 years of both Kim Jung-ho and Kim Yu-ri.
The TV adaptation will be penned by writer Im Ji-eun and will be directed by PD Lee Eun-jin (Feel Good To Die). It is set to premiere on KBS this August.
