Chun Woo-hee (Be Melodramatic) is confirmed to join the cast of “Money Game” (literal title). Singer-actress IU (Hotel del Luna) has reportedly stepped down from the upcoming drama due to scheduling conflicts.
The upcoming drama will be based on Bae Jin Soo’s webtoons “Money Game” and “Pie Game,” and will depict the narrative of a high-stakes game in which eight competitors are placed in dire situations after being cut off from society. The participants try to collect and save as much money as they can before the game ends—which occurs only when someone dies.
Ryu Jun-yeol (Lost), Park Jeong-min (Hellbound), Park Hae-joon (The World of the Married), and Bae Sung-woo (Delayed Justice) were all previously announced for the project.
The production of Money Game will begin in mid-June.
