Choi Min-sik (In Our Prime), Son Suk-ku (My Liberation Notes), Lee Dong-hwi (Pegasus Market), Heo Sung-tae (Adamas), and Lee Kyu-hyung (Happiness) will star in Disney+’s upcoming original series “Casino” (literal title).
The drama portrays the compelling tale of one man who, after many twists and turns, rises to become the king of the casino. After a string of unfortunate events, he loses everything but later plays again, putting his life at risk.
Top Chungmuro veteran Choi Min-sik leads the cast which marks his return to the small screen after 26 years. The character descriptions have yet to be released as of writing.
Award-winning director Kang Yoon-sung (The Outlaws) will direct and write the series.
The drama will premiere in the second half of 2022 via Disney+.
