Lee Da-hee (LUCA: The Beginning) and Super Junior’s Choi Si-won (Work Later, Drink Now) have both been confirmed to lead ENA’s upcoming drama “Icy Cold Romance” (literal title).
The drama will revolve around the romance of two people, who have been friends for 20 years and developed romantic feelings for each other while working together as a reality dating show producing director (PD) and the program’s cast member.
Lee Da-hee takes on the role of variety show PD Goo Yeo-reum, a PD for 10 years, who is currently in the face of crisis, as her programs are often getting canceled. She is now determined to make her new project, a reality dating show “Kingdom of Love” a success.
Choi Si-won transforms into Park Jae-hoon, a plastic surgeon who has lost interest in both work and love. Aside from being friends with Goo Yeo-reum, the two are also neighbors. To help his friend, Park Jae-hoon agrees to star in “Kingdom of Love” as a regular cast member.
The drama will be directed by PD Choi Gyu-shik (Hush, Drinking Solo) while the script will be written by Kim Sol-ji (Pegasus Market).
Icy Cold Romance will take over the Wednesday-Thursday time slot of Good Job in October.
