Chae Jong-hyeop (Love All Play), Seo Eun-soo (Missing: The Other Side), and Park Sung-woong (Snowdrop) are all confirmed to star in the drama adaptation of an original webtoon, Unlock the Boss (literal title).
The upcoming ENA drama will follow a young man and how he will help a CEO, whose spirit got stuck in a smartphone, return to his former self.
Chae Jong-hyeop will play the role of Park In-sung, a diligent job seeker who picked up a mysterious smartphone where a spirit got stuck and offered him money in exchange for following his orders. The spirit which turned out to be Kim Sun-joo, a CEO of a big IT corporation, will be played by Park Sung-woong. His character’s soul was trapped inside the smartphone after an accident. Park In-sung will try to infiltrate the CEO’s office in order to help him get back to his body. There, he will meet CEO Kim’s secretary and most reliable ally Jung Se-yeon, which will be played by Seo Eun-soo. Secretary Jung is described as a robot-like assistant who lives a busy life that she can’t even have a dream of her own.
Unlock the Boss will be directed by Lee Chul-ha and will be adapted into a screenplay by Kim Hyeong-min. It is set to premiere on November 30.
