Yoo Yeon-seok (Narco Saints), Mun Ka-young (Link: Eat, Love, Kill), Keum Sae-rok (Youth of May), and Jung Ga-ram (Love Alarm 2) will star in the upcoming JTBC melodrama, Understanding of Love (literal translation).
Based on a novel, this romance drama will follows the story of four different people who meet at the Yeongpo branch of KCU Bank and their journey in understanding the true meaning of love. The story from the novel depicts romance as the deepest way of human relationship and the inevitability of experiencing emotional exhaustion from love.
Yoo Yeon-seok takes on the role of Ha Sang-soo, who believes that happiness comes from having a stable and uneventful life but his belief will be shaken when he experiences love. Mun Ka-young, meanwhile, will play the role of Ahn Soo-young, who believes love can fall apart in an instant but finds herself falling for a man who suddenly appears in her life.
Keum Sea-rok has been cast for the character of Park Mi-kyung, a rich woman who gives her all to make a relationship happen. Jung Ga-ram is also set to join the cast as Jung Jong-hyun, a diligent man studying to become a police officer. His character works hard to become someone good enough for the person he loves.
Understanding of Love is set to premiere this winter season in JTBC.
