The epic fantasy series Arthdal Chronicles will be coming back for a second season with its new main leads Lee Joon-gi (Again My Life) and Shin Se-kyung (Run On) joining its original cast members Jang Dong-gun (Arthdal Chronicles) and Kim Ok-vin (Dark Hole).

Arthdal Chronicles is about a set of heroes who make their own legends in the mythical land of Arth. The story will take off ten years after season 1, when Targon successfully suppressed the rebellion of tribes and Agos achieved reunification of its 30 clans under Eun Seom. In Season 2, the Kingdom of Arthdal and the reunified Ago are faced with another threat of war.
Lee Joon-gi will take on the adult version of Eun Seom, the ruler of the East while Shin Se-kyung will be playing the role of Tan Ya, the successor of Wahan Clan. Jang Dong-gun and Kim Ok-vin will reprise their roles as Ta Gon and Tae Al Ha.
Arthdal Chronicles 2 is set to broadcast in 2023.
Oh my gosh – I thought they’d never continue it. It’s a pity that Song Joong-ki and Kim Ji-won won’t be reprising their roles. It definitely will feel different, but hopefully it’ll be just as good.
