Kim So-hyun (River Where The Moon Rises) and Chae Jong-hyeop (Unlock My Boss) will star in the series adaptation of the popular webtoon romance, Is It a Coincidence (literal translation).
The new romance drama tells the story of two young people who fell in love in high school and fatefully reunited with each other after ten years.
Kim So-hyun will be taking on the role of Lee Hong-joo, an animation producer who is afraid to fall in love because of painful experience in her past relationship. Chae Jong-hyeop will be starring as Kang Hoo-young, a smart and handsome financial planner who migrated to the US and returns to Korea after ten years.
The series will be directed by PD Song Hyun-wook (The Golden Spoon) and will be written by Park Geu-ro. It is set to premiere in 2023.
