Top Hallyu stars IU / Lee Ji-eun (Hotel Del Luna) and Park Bo-gum (Record of Youth) are set to star in the upcoming drama “You Have Done Well.”
The drama will revolve around the life stories of Ae Soon and Gwan Shik, who were both born on Jeju Island in the 1950s. IU will take on the role of Ae Soon, a rebellious character who is always shining and full of positivity. She dreams of becoming a poet but is unable to attend school. On the other hand, Park Bo-gum will play the role of Gwan Shik, an extremely diligent and quiet character who only loves Ae Soon from the very beginning.
The drama will be written by hit writer Im Sang-choon (Fight for My Way, When the Camellia Blooms), and directed by Kim Won-seok (Misaeng, Signal, My Mister).
The production is set to begin in the first half of the year.
