Seo In-guk (Cafe Minamdang) and Park So-dam (Record of Youth) have been confirmed to star in a new fantasy drama “Death’s Game” based on the popular webtoon of the same name. The drama follows the story of Choi Yi-jae, played by Seo In-guk, who is given multiple chances at life after facing death.
Choi Yi-jae goes back and forth between life and death twelve times, and various actors, including Lee Jae-wook (Alchemy of Souls), Choi Siwon (Work Later, Drink Now 2), Jang Seung-jo (Strangers Again), and Sung Hoon (Woo-ri, The Virgin), are reportedly in talks to make special appearances as his different incarnations in each episode.
Park So-dam will play the role of Death, a mysterious being who condemns Choi Yi-jae to his fate of twelve lives and deaths before he descends into hell.
PD Ha Byung-hoon (18 Again, Go Back Couple) will write and direct the drama.
“Death’s Game” aims to premiere in the second half of 2023.
