The upcoming drama “Very Lucky Day” (working title) has cast Lee Sung-min (Reborn Rich), Yoo Yeon-seok (Interest of Love), and Lee Jung-eun (Missing: The Other Side 2) as its leads. The series, based on a Webtoon of the same name, is a suspenseful thriller that follows a taxi driver named Oh Taek, who unwittingly picks up a serial killer as a passenger while en route to Mokpo. Acclaimed director Pil Gam-sung (Hostage) will produce the show.
Lee Sung-min will portray the role of Oh Taek, a taxi driver who receives an offer of one million won to take a passenger to Mokpo on the same day he had a dream about a lucky pig, which symbolizes wealth in dreams.
Yoo Yeon Seok will play Geum Hyuk-soo, a serial killer who convinces Oh Taek to drive him to Mokpo in order to escape after committing a murder and covering it up.
Lee Jung Eun will take on the role of Hwang Soon gyu, a desperate mother who is chasing Geum Hyuk-soo after he killed her son.
The thriller drama aims to premiere via TVING in the second half of 2023.
