ENA’s upcoming drama “Day of Kidnapping” has confirmed its impressive cast lineup, raising anticipation for what promises to be an entertaining and unique show.
Based on a novel of the same name, “Day of Kidnapping” tells the story of Kim Myung-joon, played by Yoon Kye-sang (Kiss Sixth Sense), a first-time kidnapper who abducts an 11-year-old genius girl named Choi Ro-hee, played by Yoo-na (Green Mothers’ Club) to raise money for his daughter’s hospital fees. However, after a twist of fate, Kim Myung-hoon is hunted as a murder suspect. The drama follows their unexpected partnership as they embark on a journey to find the truth.
Park Sung-hoon (The Glory) plays the role of detective Park Sang-yoon, who is on Kim Myung-joon’s trial. Meanwhile, Kim Shin-rok (Reborn Rich) portrays Kim Myung-joon’s ex-wife Seo Hye-eun, who urges him to abduct Choi Ro-hee upon her return.
The rest of the cast includes Kim Sang-ho (Bad Prosecutor) as security company employee Park Chul-won, Seo Jae-hee (Reborn Rich) as neurosurgeon Mo Eun-sun, and Kang Yong-seok as fund manager Jayden.
The drama is expected to air in the first half of 2023.
