Park Shin-hye (Doctor Slump) and Kim Jae-young (Love in Contract) are both slated to headline the much-anticipated SBS fantasy romance drama “The Judge from Hell” (literal translation).
Park Shin-hye will portray Kang Bit-na, a demon inhabiting a judge’s body. Judge Kang Bit-na, while beautiful and elite, harbors a dark secret—she is a demon tasked with punishing unremorseful individuals by sending them to hell.
Kim Jae-young will play Han Da-on, a kind and observant detective with a hidden emotional wound. He is known for his exceptional observational skills and compassionate nature, despite carrying a hidden burden.
The drama will be directed by Chungmuro PD Park Jin-pyo (Brave Citizen, Closer to Heaven) while the script will be written by Jo Yi-soo. It is scheduled to premiere this 2024 on SBS.
