Following Defendant‘s success, it looks like SBS will continue it’s legal drama journey with Falsify. The show that will revolve around prosecutors and reporters fighting corruption has officially issued it’s offer for Jeon Hye-bin (Joseon Gunman, Another Oh Hae-young). The actress is now considering the role and if she accepts, Jeon Hye-bin will potentially join film artist Chun Woo-hee (The Wailing) and actor Yoo Jun-sang (Heard it Through the Grape Vine).
Jeon Hye-bin is up to play Oh Yoo-kyung, a determined and cool-headed photojournalist who has a long working history with Lee Suk-min, Yoo Jun-sang’s character. After glowing in her role as “Gold Hae-young” the actress will once again have a chance to show her charms.
This is Jeon Hye-bin’s first project following her relationship with Hallyu star, Lee Joon-ki made rounds in the news and social media. The actress might be pressured by this but I still hope she accepts the role.
Being a big fan of thriller and legal dramas, I hope the show will live to its promise by having a distinction from previous SBS programs of the same genre. Aside from Jeon Hye-bin, I am anticipating Chun Woo-hee’s possible performance after being impressed with her in hit film, Sunny.
SBS’s Falsify will replace My Sassy Girl and currently airing Whisper for the Monday-Tuesday slot in July.
