MBC courts Yoo Seung-ho for android romance I’m Not a Robot

Yoo Seung-ho (Ruler: Master of the Mask) seems to be considering a number of drama offers as he reportedly received an offer to play the male lead role in MBC’s android romance series, I’m Not a Robot.

The lead role Kim Min-Kyu, which was previously turned down by Dongha (Suspicious Partner), is described as a chaebol who has a severe allergy to humans and lives an isolated life. He will then fall in love with a robot If Yoo Seung-Ho accepts, he would star alongside Chae Soo-bin (Strongest Deliveryman) who has already signed on as the drama’s female lead. The series has also cast Hwang Seung-un (Man Who Dies to Live) as the second female lead and the main character’s first love.

The in-demand actor is already considering another MBC drama, I Am Love, but reports say he is looking at I’m Not a Robot more favorably.

I’m Not a Robot will be directed by PD Jung Dae-Yoon, whose previous works includes hit dramas, W: Two Worlds and She Was Pretty. The android rom-com’s airing was pushed back to November. It will take the Wednesday and Thursday time slot, currently occupied by Hospital Ship.
