Uri Go Soo is back!

Go Soo (The Flower in Prison) is set to lead SBS upcoming drama Thoracic Surgery. As the title suggests, the series will tell the story of thoracic surgeon Park Tae-soo. Nothing much has been revealed about his character except that he is a fellow in the said medical field, and has a mother who is in dire need of a heart transplant.

And in case you’re curious what thoracic surgery is, according to medschool.ucla.edu, thoracic surgeries are surgical procedures involving organs within the chest such as lung surgery and heart transplants.

Thoracic Surgery will be helmed by director Jo Young-kwang and the script will be penned by Choi Soo-jin, both worked in Defendant. Thoracic Surgery will take over the Wednesday & Thursday 22:00 time slot of Dear Judge.
