We have a new romance drama to look forward to in 2020!
Seo Kang-joon (Watcher) and Park Min-young (Her Private Life) are both confirmed to lead the upcoming drama adaptation of the romance novel, “I’ll Go to You When the Weather Is Nice” (literal title). They will also be joined by breakout rookie actor Lee Jae-wook (Extraordinary You).
The drama will tell the love story and Mok Hae-won (to be played by Park Min-young), a young professional cello player who moves back to her hometown of Bookhyun Village in Gangwon province due to loss of trust and heartbreak, and Im Eun-seob (to be played by Seo Kang-joon), a country bumpkin who runs the “Goodnight Bookstore” and maintains his own blog. Eun-seob’s simple life will begin to change after he meets Hye-won. Meanwhile, Lee Jae-wook will appear in the drama as Lee Jang-woo, Eun-seob’s charming friend and a diligent son to his parents.
“I’ll Go to You When the Weather Is Nice” will be directed by PD Han Ji-seung (Mistress) and will be written by Han Ga-ram (Han Yeo-reum’s Memory). It is set to air on cable channel jtbc in the first half of 2020.
