The upcoming OCN weekend drama “Chimera” (literal title) secured its October 30 premiere. Leading the cast are Park Hae-soo (Squid Game), Claudia Kim (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), and Lee Hee-joon (Mouse).
The mystery thriller revolves around a present-day incident said to be related to the explosion and serial murders in 1984 known as the Chimera case.
Park Hae-soo leads the drama as violent crimes detective Cha Jae-hyun. Claudia Kim takes on the role of criminal profiler Yoo-jin, who once worked with the FBI after being adopted by an American family when she was young. Lastly, Lee Hee-joon will play as Lee Joong-yeob, a surgeon who comes back to Korea after staying with his adoptive family in England. The three of them will uncover the truth behind the Chimera case.
Chimera is helmed by director Kim Do-hoon (The Moon Embracing the Sun) while the script is written by Lee Jin-mae (Ex-Girlfriend Club).
The drama takes on the Saturday and Sunday 22:30H slot of OCN starting October 30.
