Ko Hyun-jung (My Lawyer, Mr. Joe 2: Crime and Punishment) has been confirmed to lead the new jtbc drama “Person Who Looks Like You” (literal title).
“A Person Who Looks Like You” tells the story of Hee Joo, (to be portrayed by Ko Hyun-jung), a successful painter and essay writer who devoted her whole life to fulfil her desires. She used to have a challenging childhood, and her story was rags to riches. She is the wife to the heir to a hospital foundation and a mother to two children. She may seem to have achieved everything in life, but deep inside she regrets spending her time meaninglessly. She will eventually meet another woman who, despite her impoverished life, still shines. Their conflict will revolve around betrayal, corruption, and revenge.
The drama will be written by scriptwriter Yoo Bo-ra (Rain or Shine) and directed by Im Hyun-wook (A Person You May Know). It is scheduled to premiere in 2021.
