Park Hae-jin (Kkondae Intern) has been confirmed to lead the new drama “From Now On, Showtime!” (working title).
From Now On, Showtime! is a romance fantasy drama about a magician and a police officer. Park Hae-jin is cast for the role of Cha Cha-woong, a famous magician who is known for his harsh remarks. He is a celebrity in the world of magicians because of his outstanding skills and tricks. He also harbors a secret – his ability to talk to ghosts. He manipulates them to his advantage.
The role for the female lead has yet to be announced, but the character sketch is described as an enthusiastic police officer who is passionate with her work. She will work together with Cha Cha-woong in solving a case the help of ghosts.
The script will be written by Ha Yoon-a and the drama will begin filming at the end of August. No broadcast network has been announced as of writing.
