K-Drama Reaction: Laughter in Waikiki

It’s so hard to date in South Korea if you are a celebrity. It’s one distinction that separates international fans from the Korean ones. It’s like everyone else outside this country seems to be understanding if their certain celebrity idols are in a relationship, but it’s not the case with the Korean fans. This harsh reality is also the same ordeal that Seo-jin (Go Won-hee) has to go through now that Jun-ki (Lee Yi-kyung) is one step closer to being the next big thing. He just signed a contract with a major agency, and his CEO isn’t very much considerate of their relationship. And just like any other dating K-celebrity in real life, even the fictional ones have to keep it a secret.

Soo-ah’s dream

Ever since Soo-ah (Lee Joo-woo) listened to Du-shik’s (Son Seung-won) advice about starting over again, she has been on a hit or miss mode. I loved her persistence in working to improve herself and consistently looking for something she is good at. But I think the problem with Soo-ah was her refusal to listen to constructive criticisms. She won’t listen to her housemates’ opinions about her design.

Anyway, although it took a bit late, I am happy that she now finally realizes that she likes Du-shik!!!! I love them together! I just want to see them succeed with Soorgio Armhany together!
